Today we took a tour bus, that left right from the campground, to see Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and downtown LA. My best friend from high school, Brenda drove up to join us (thanks Brenda!)
The tour bus driver had a unique gift of being able to drive with no hands. He grew up in LA and was a wealth of information. It was interesting to learn the history behind the growth of LA. A lot of people came here to settle during the depression. The entertainment industry is its backbone.
We saw movie stars homes, the Hollywood and Rodeo drive (remember Pretty Woman?)

It was great to see Brenda again!
We also stopped outside of the Guitar Center to see the "Rock Walk". It is like the Chinese Theater's celebrity hands in concrete, but these hands are all rockers.
